Aim

To develop correct flutter kick and rotation within the water

Chest Deep

Description

  1. Players position themselves in the water with backs against the starting point
  2. On the teachers command ‘go’ the students push off the wall and complete a designated number of flutter kicks
  3. The designated kicks could be e.g. four kicks face down, 5 kicks, facing right, 3 kicks facing up etc
  4. This will need to occur continuously as to encourage rotation while under water
  5. Arms are to be held by the sides, or above the head
